Travel indulgence of the month
As far as we're concerned, every relaxing break must include chocolate - which is why we always pack a bar - or six - of Heaven in our handbags whenever we're about to leave the house. But now we've tracked down three extra-special indulgent getaways that feature chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate all the way...
Get crafty with chocolate in Hampshire
Ever wondered what it would be like to work in a chocolate factory? Well, now you can find out, by heading to the heart of the Hampshire countryside to learn how to craft your own chocs. Alresford Chocolate Company's four-hour course teaches you how to create scrumptious choccies and ensure they're beautifully packaged. A lunch of delicious local produce is also included. The price? £55. Find out more at www.chocolatecraft.co.uk.
Rustle up delicious desserts in Cumbria
Fabulous Lake District cookery school, LucyCooks, runs a number of regular courses to teach you how to perfect your puddings, desserts and patisserie. Our favourite? It's the full-day 'Delicious Desserts: Chocoholics Unite!' workshop, obviously. But we're also very tempted by the 'Classic Cakes and Bakes' course, where you can learn how to make old-fashioned cakes like Granny used to bake. Brilliant! The price? £110 for a full day. Find out more at www.lucycooks.co.uk.
Treat yourself to a Chocolate Indulgence package
If you really want to treat yourself, the Chocolate Indulgence package at London's Sheraton Belgravia could well be your best-ever weekend. What's included? Bed and breakfast accommodation plus a trip to the flagship Godiva store on the King's Road, where you'll learn about the history of chocolate, sample a range of choccie flavours and try your hand at making your own chocolate truffles. Oh, and when you get back to the hotel, you can sample a Chocolate Martini Cocktail in the fabulous bar. The full package costs £270; find out more at www.sheraton.com/belgravia.
