And because the people at Cameron Grill are so passionate about food, they also run a bespoke culinary workshop package that provides an interesting twist on ordinary, run-of-the-mill cookery lessons. A few examples? Choose from whisky nosing, meat butchering, pastry making, learning how to cook the perfect omelette, or - our absolute favourite - professional chocolate tasting.

You can also get involved in outdoor foodie activities such as spending an afternoon fishing for salmon - then taking your catch back to the restaurant to learn how to prepare and cook it. Alternatively, escape for an evening of oyster tasting on the loch, followed by a moonlit picnic for two.

To round off a meal at Cameron Grill, pay a visit to the adjoining Whisky Bar, which boasts 300 different types of whisky. Relax in a big leather chair by the log fire - and maybe have a little snooze and dream about food ... Heavenly!
