Jennifer Aniston's girl-next-door charms extend to her wardrobe choices, too. Unlike many of her Hollywood peers, the former Friends star isn't one to experiment with paparazzi-pleasing shock designer pieces or eye-popping accessories: more often than not, she'll go for laid-back, comfortable outfits that are somehow still effortlessly chic.
'I almost resent the whole fashion thing,' Jen once said. 'Never wearing the same outfit twice, it's a complete pain!' And this down-to-earth attitude is one of the reasons why her style is so easy - and effective - to emulate.
For everyday wear, Jen favours that classic wardrobe staple: jeans and a pretty top. And depending on the weather, she'll often opt for style-savvy layers: a plain vest worn with a cashmere cardigan, for example.
But the actress knows how to give her basics an individual twist by making simple style statements, such as knotting her cardi above her waist or seeking out a bang-on-trend belt to dress up her jeans. Check out Gap, Next or Marks & Spencer for denims and classic tops - then head to Accessorize or Topshop for little extras to lift them out of the ordinary.
And unlike many other Hollywood A-listers, Jennifer isn't a slave to high heels. When she's simply hooking up with friends or hitting the shops, she'll often sport cute flats or comfy trainers.
On the red carpet, however, Jen usually goes for little black dresses. But these LBDs are far from ordinary: memorable show-stoppers include the daring cut-out Versace number she wore for The Break-up premiere in 2006, and a fabulously fitted Valentino minidress at last year's Marley & Me premiere.
If your budget won't stretch to designer, you can still find plenty of fabulous LBDs on the high street: try Oasis or Monsoon for classic cuts and cocktail frocks. Or simply dig out your favourite LBD from your wardrobe, and give it a seasonal twist with a sequined clutch or cute corsage.
