Ooh-la-la! A fabulous French organic bathing range has just become available in the UK - and as well as helping you to relax and indulge your senses, it also promises the ultimate in sumptuous skincare.
Suzanne aux bains products all contain the exclusive Nutri-Détente plant complex, which is composed of three all-natural ingredients: apricot kernel oil, lime blossom extract or lime blossom water, and mallow flower extract. Together, they display wonderfully moisturising, nourishing, soothing and regenerating properties.
The Suzanne aux bains ritual aims to focus the mind on the three phases of bathing: before (preparing the skin); during (rediscovering the soothing effects of water); and after (prolonging the experience). The aim? To purify and beautify both body and soul.
Founded by business guru Romain Vitali in 2003, the all-organic beauty company is based in Aix en Provence - and many of its products' deliciously decadent ingredients hail from this area of the Mediterranean.
'I wanted to get involved in this exciting industry, and I saw that it needed to raise its game and compete with traditional cosmetics,' says Romain. 'A great amount of care is taken in producing our organic products, and it makes sense to take the same care when presenting them, too.'
The range comprises nine blissfully indulgent treats. Our favourites? Intérieur Plume Gentle Body Scrub (£18.50) - a lightly foaming exfoliating cream that contains jojoba to lightly nourish the skin, and leave it silky-smooth. We also love Eloge de la Paresse Bath Foam Bliss (£12.50), which gives the bath a halo of creamy bubbles; it contain essential oils of camomile, incense and lavender to help you relax.
