Our starting point is Brooklands in Surrey, the site of Mercedes-Benz World.
From there we will be heading to Paris and through France to Geneva before aiming north for Stuttgart to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum, then departing for the "Green Hell" of the Nürburgring.
For anyone who follows rugby, our wheelman will need no introduction, former Leicester and England captain, Martin Johnson. The man who led the England side to an unmissable victory over Australia in the 2003 Rugby World Cup will hopefully prove as adept at leading our cars through Europe.
Mercedes-Benz has poured all 120 years of its experience into the new generation E-Class. The new E-Class is better looking and sharper to drive, without sacrificing any of its legendary comfort, practicality and reliability; there couldn't be a better way to cross the continent.
It wouldn't be fair for us to have all the fun so we are offering one lucky reader the chance to follow in our tyre-tracks with a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. We'll be publishing the competition questions en route so check back every day for the best chance of winning.
