Permission Settings
Permissions help you control who can see your space and your profile information. You can set different permissions for your space and your profile information. For example, you might not care who sees your space, but you may want only your Messenger contacts to see your profile information.
When you first create your space, your space permissions are set to Messenger. You can limit who has access to your space by changing your space permissions.
1. Make sure that you've signed into your space and that you're in edit mode.
2. Click the Options link.
3. Click the Permissions link.
4. Select the permissions level you want. For more information, see About setting permissions. NB: Live Sessions Unsigned Artists should set their permission settings to Everyone to allow the general public to view and hear their music.
5. Click Save.
Setting the permission level to "Everyone" will enable anyone on the Internet to view your Windows Live Space. Be careful not to include any personal information such as your telephone number or home address on your Space whilst it's public. Microsoft is committed to protecting your privacy. · Messenger
Provides access only to people on your Messenger Allow list.
· Custom
Lets you select the individuals or groups of people who have access.
Notes
· To further control your space, you can allow or prevent people from commenting on your photos or blog. If your space has Everyone permissions, you can also allow or prevent trackbacks and syndication.
