James Morrison
James’ debut album Undiscovered went straight in at number one in the UK album chart in July 2006 and went on to sell over two million copies worldwide, making it one of the biggest debut albums of that year. This was an awesome feat for a then unknown 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Derby. He has since toured with Corinne Bailey-Rae and John Mayer, played alongside his hero Cat Stevens, performed at the concert for Diana (amongst other huge events) and won a Brit Award for best Male in 2007.
On April 6 he will release the third single Please Don’t Stop The Rain from his platinum certified album Songs for You, Truths for Me through Polydor Records. The song, which has become a live favourite, is a mellow soul-searching ode to getting through relationship woes. His last single Broken Strings (featuring Nelly Furtado) was released back in early December and proved a great hit among James’ fans.

James Morrison will embark on a 12-date UK tour in March and April 2009, following the sell out shows he did in November last year. The tour starts at Manchester Apollo on Friday March 20 and ends at Bournemouth BIC on Tuesday April 7.
