Scene It? Box Office Smash on the Xbox 360 Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
1. ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open to any person resident in the UK who is 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Over except employees of Microsoft Limited (“Microsoft”) and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families (defined for the purpose of these Terms as husband, wife, mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, or persons residing in the household of such employees), and anyone else professionally connected with this Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Entrants and check their identity. Entrants who are under eighteen must seek their parent or guardian’s permission before entering this Competition.
2. TO ENTER: Visit http://specials.uk.msn.com/entertainment/sceneit-competition.aspx and answer the multiple choice question. Once you have answered the question you will automatically be entered into a free prize draw (regardless of whether they have answered correctly or incorrectly) to win one ‘Premium’ Video Game and Entertainment System (60 GB) and one copy of Scene It? Box Office Smash for the Xbox 360.
3. TIMING: This promotion runs from 09:00GMT on 19 November 2008. The closing date of this promotion is 23:59GMT on 2 January 2009.
4. USE OF DATA: Personal data which you provide will be used for future Microsoft marketing activity. The collection of personally identifiable information for the purposes of this promotion will be subject to the Privacy Statement at http://privacy.microsoft.com/. Specifically, the data collected through this promotion will be used to send an email to entrants to confirm where the entrant has won a prize. In addition, Microsoft will pass the winners’ names and email addresses to our prize fulfilment partner NDL Group Ltd., in order for them to arrange delivery of the Prize. All personally identifiable information will be deleted approximately six (6) weeks after the Winners are selected.
5. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Microsoft will select the winner by random prize draw in the presence of an independent adjudicator before 9 January 2009. The winners will be notified by email or telephone within one (1) week of the drawing. In the event that the winner does not respond within a further one (1) week, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and an alternative winner will be randomly selected. The winners may be required to participate in publicity or advertising.
6. PRIZE: One Xbox 360 ‘Premium’ Video Game and Entertainment System (60 GB) and one copy of Scene It? Box Office Smash for the Xbox 360. Price value approximately £230. Prizes as stated and are non transferable. No cash or other alternatives available. Microsoft reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. The prizes will be sent to the winners by 23 February 2009.
7. WINNERS LIST: The winner consents to their surname being made publicly available. The winner’s surname will be available for a period of up to three weeks after the closing date by emailing prizes@microsoft.com.
8. OTHER: No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this promotion or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Microsoft’s decision shall be final. Microsoft reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this promotion at any time without notice.
9. These terms, the conduct of this promotion and the interpretation and enforcement of these terms and conditions shall be exclusively governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, unless you are a Scottish resident, in which case you may choose the law of your own country of residence. Entrants irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales, unless they are a Scottish resident or a resident of Northern Ireland, in which case they may choose the courts of their place of residence.
