Fancy off-roading in an Audi A4? Then this could well be the car for you. It's the all-new Audi A4 allroad quattro, which is available to order now, with prices starting at £29,285. Think of it as a slightly smaller version of the Audi A6 Allroad, and you'll be on the right lines.

  • Rugged looks

As you can see the A4 allroad quattro is based on the A4 Avant. Changes include 37mm taller ride height - bringing it up to 180mm - and 20mm wider track at both the front and back. Plus, of course, unique Allroad bodystyling, comprising new bumpers, grill, wheel-arch extensions and underbody protection.

  • Power

    Three engines will be offered including a 170hp 2.0-litre TDI turbodiesel with six-speed manual, a 211hp 2.0-litre turbo petrol with S tronic-7 twin-clutch semi-auto and a 3.0-litre V6 TDI also with S tronic-7. The entry-level 2.0 diesel is the most environmentally friendly, returning 44.1mpg combined.

  • Equipment

Based on the regular A4 Avant's SE specification, this includes three-zone climate control, auto lights and wipers, and a 10-speaker stereo. Not to mention up to 1,430 litres of luggage space. Extra kit for the Allroad includes 18-inch alloys with special grippy tyres, bespoke interior trim and a "storage pack."
